Family History of PPROM

After having a picture perfect pregnancy, my water broke before my 28th week. I was on bedrest for two weeks in the hospital and delivered at 29 weeks and 4 days. We were lucky, my baby is 10 weeks old now and doing extremely well. My sister had the same thing happen to her two years ago during her 34th week. The doctors had no reason for either one of us having PPROM. We are both perfectly healthy and had very normal pregnancies.

As you can imagine, we are both terrified about having a second child. Could there be something genetically wrong with our uteruses? What are the percentages that this could happen again?
