is my belly getting to hot at night? From: morgan (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 31 Dec 2002 10:00:05 -0600 (CST)
hi. i searched the archives and could not find what i was looking for. when i sleep at night i sleep on my left side with a flannel body pillow, but two of my cats sleep right next to my belly(i'm 34 weeks)and my belly gets pretty warm and sometimes my belly will sweat, but i feel fine, so am i making the baby to hot? will this cause any damage or anything? and also, i take showers most of the time, but 2-3 times a week a take a bath for 20-30 min i get the water to 100degrees but in like 10 mins. it's down to 98 or so, is this ok? i've done this my whole pregnancy and i know the first trimester is the most dangerous when it comes to heat due to nueral tube development. thank you in advance!
