Is the doctor concerned about the baby's size? If not, and as long as you are eating right and taking your prenatal vitamins you should be fine. The baby will take what it needs from you, and you sound like you are petite. My paternal family is all very petite and it is normal for them to have 4 lb. babies that are full-term and healthy, just small. My baby sister grew all the way to a whopping size 4 during her pregnancy and my youngest niece was 2lb 6 oz. and perfectly healthy and full-term.
