16 years old and 5 months pregnant with no weight gainFrom: Amanda (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 30 Dec 2002 23:39:17 -0600 (CST)
I am 16 years old and 5 months pregnant. When I became pregnant I weighed only 100 pounds. I am now 5 months pregnant and I still only weigh 100 pounds. I go to my OB/GYN once a month. I was told to gain 35 to 40 pounds to ensure a healthy baby boy. My Mother and both Grandmothers only gained about 12 to 15 pounds per prgnancy. Is it safe to say I might turn out the same way? Or should I really put on all those extra pounds?
