Re: sneezing without allergies or cold symptomsFrom: Alicia (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 28 Dec 2002 15:28:39 -0600 (CST)
>From all of the pregnancy books and magazines that I have read, nasal congestion and sneezing is quite normal during pregnancy. Something to do with the increase of hormones in your body. Nosebleeds also become quite common (had one the other day - first one ever in my life!) I have been reassured that it's normal. My doctor told me to use a humidifier while I sleep to relieve nasal congestion, swollen sinuses, and to prevent nosebleeds. As long as you feel fine, I wouldn't worry about it. If you start to have other symptoms, such as a sore throat or fever, call your doctor because this may be a sign of infection.
