I know women who have waited almost 8 or 9 months before they had a period. It just depends on your hormones. But don't assume that just because you don't have a period you aren't ovulating (I made that mistake while on lupron and I ended up pregnant) It may take a while for your body to adjust back to normal. Call your doctor if you are really concerned.
