Stubborn baby

It seems that my baby is already taking after its father! We went for a level 2 ultrasound earlier this week. It was scheduled to check for any complications because I concieved on lupron (for those who may not have known). The good news is that everything was normal. Everything was as it should be at 19 weeks. It took quite a while...the tech took about 50 minutes to get measurements and look at the baby. Then a doctor came in and looked for about half an hour and explained everything to me. The thing is, we really wanted to know the sex of the baby. This was our 5th ultrasound (the 1st to calculate an EDD, the 2nd as a follow up to that one because of a question with my cervix, and the other 2 because I had severe, contration-like pain) and this will most likely be our last ultrasound unless I develop problems later on in the pregnancy (knock on wood.) The entire time the tech was doing the exam, the baby was laying so we couldn't tell. By the time the doctor came in, the baby had his rear angled right at us but its legs were crossed so we couldn't see a thing! I've been joking with my boyfriend saying that after an hour and 20 minute exam and not being able to see anything, the baby must have inherited his stubborness! I know that there are tons of superstitions regarding how to tell the sex of your baby (the way you are carrying, the baby's heartrate, etc.) but are any of them accurate? As far as I'm concerned, I have a 50-50 chance of being correct using these superstitions. Just wanted to see what everyone else thinks.
