I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and last week I took a dosage of macrobid 100 mg twice a day for one day only (I take this when I feel like I am coming down with a bladder infection). I was just informed that macrobid is not safe during third trimester, therefore, I am extremely concerned about the effects fo this med on my baby. I read some of the archives, but there are some conflicting recommendations like do not take it macrobid near term 27-40 weeks and others say not to take at all in the third trimester. I want to know if the dosage could have harm my baby. BTW, I am of Latin descent and my husband is Pakistani.
