18w5d weightFrom: Katya (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 12 Dec 2002 13:54:55 -0600 (CST)
If a baby is in the 85th percentile by weight at the 18 weeks 5 days ultrasound (i.e. out of 100 male and female fetuses, 84 weigh less than mine), is she likely to be very large at birth? I am healthy and low risk for diabetes (a little underweight, fit, 25 yrs old, no family history of diabetes). I was surprised to find out that my baby girl is big - I had trouble gaining weight and still have morning sickness (thank gooness for grapefruits, I would probably just be miserable without them...). Thank you,
-- Katya
