34 weeks along - exposed to lound sound - dangerous?From: Dominique (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 11 Dec 2002 19:18:36 -0600 (CST)
My fire alarm went off today and I was exposed to a VERY loud, shrill alarm for about 30 minutes before the fire department was able to get it off. Shortly afterwards I experienced intense braxton-hicks ctx for about 5 minutes, but I've been resting and now I feel fine. I feel the baby moving around just as I normally do. Is there any chance the baby's hearing could have been damaged by the long exposure to the alarm?
