**DR. McINTOSH - THIS Q. WAS MISSED MANY TIMES**

It's about the FISH test (flourescent in situ hybridisation). It's the test you can pay an extra $400 for when you do your amnio to get results within 24-48 hours. Although you still have to wait the usual 10 days or so to get FINAL amnio results, FISH provides fast analysis & info on chromosomes 13, 18, 21, X and Y.

My question: If FISH comes back perfect, what are the chances of amnio coming back perfect too? About what percentage of what CAN go wrong is covered by the aforementioned 5 sets of chromosomes?

I've been on the internet for the last two days trying to get an answer to this; I guess it's such a new test that there are no "official" answers and I'm not finding anything. I'm going crazy! Thank you for your help.
