waiting for miscarriage to happenFrom: Paula (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 8 Dec 2002 11:58:56 -0600 (CST)
My beta levels were never good to begin with (highest was 235 at 14dpo - the day of the positive blood test and hpt): doctors told me to expect a miscarriage because they were dropping. It's taken four weeks to drop to zero, and no sign of a miscarriage, just a few days of brown discharge with some red blood mixed in about 3 weeks ago, and some minor menstrual-type cramps. I've continued charting my BBT throughout, and it looks like I've just ovulated. Am I safe to assume that my body is getting back on track? Doctor can't see me until January 20, because "he's booked solid until then. Sorry." If I have a normal menstrual period, do I still have to worry about anything being left behind from the pregnancy? Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
