I am currently pregnant with my 8th child, about 6 weeks to go. I have a question about loss of the urge to push when fully dilated. Why is it gone, and can it be recovered somehow.The last 3 deliveries I have had no urge to push whatsovever and the last was the most miserable. It took me an hour to push him out, and he was the smallest baby I have ever had. I am really not looking forward to labor and delivery. I had a near 10 lb. baby that was easier than that!! Any advice??? Julie
