Kim, your story sounds almost like mine. Have you tried ivf, to at least try to avoid ectopics? You cannot do anything to boost your hcg levels right now. How low were they on what day past ovulation? Are they doubling? I've heard tons of success stories from women with low betas (search at ivfconnections.com). Apparently doubling every 2-3 days is the most important thing. You cannot do anything except hope for the best at this point. Is your TSH between 1 and 2?? Apparently, even then those of us with hypothyroidism have a higher chance of miscarriage, but it's certainly NOT impossible to have a successful pregnancy. (Did you give up caffeine entirely as that interferes with thyroid function?) Also, I started acupuncture 8 months ago and I believe that will ultimately help me. Also, can I ask how old you are? i'm afraid age is a big factor for me as I am 38... This pregnancy is probably fine (you don't have any of the usual signals!), but I understand your nervousness. I would say at this point just try to relax, since you cannot alter the outcome. I wish you the best-- Jana
