Thanks..Yeah, I was also told that I should have a surgical abortion if the medical one happened to fail. The misoprostal definitely did not cause me to shed my pregnancy. I am wondering, though, if the methotrexate may have also been ineffective and if this is why I am still carrying the pregnancy and having pregnancy symptoms. I have read that it is possible that the methotrexate(taken as early as I had taken it) may be included in the "all or none" phenomenon. I will be getting an ultrasound asap...I am just wondering if anyone can help shed some light until that time. Is it remotely possible that the baby is okay? If the ultrasound shows that the baby is developed to the gestational stage that it is supposed to be at, does that mean everything is okay and I had the "none" part of the phenomenon? If not, what are the chances of defects and how soon can I be tested for them and with what test? I'm sorry for so many questions. Thanks to anyone who can answer!
