I had a D&C about 7 weeks ago and my first period was extremely heavy and it lasted for 7 days- It usually only lasts for about 4 days. My doctor informed me ahead of time that my period would be extremely heavy and clumpy. I haven't had much discharge so I cant help you out with that. Good Luck
