I am 38 and no children. I was inseminated on the 16th following 5 day course of Clomid and a shot of Pregnyl. I have been on 100mg progesterone suppositories since the 22nd. I'm assuming I should have started yesterday had the progesterone not halted my period. It is now day 30 of my cycle and the doctor wont be in the office until monday when I will have a blood test done. I am to stay on progesteone until I have a result. Home pregnancy tests have been negative the past 2 mornings. I have read that Clomid can lengthen a cycle which can delay a positive result, which could be encouraging. Is that possible even though Pregnyl was used. Does Pregnyl force the cycle to be timely regardless of Clomids effects. All these meds and their effects can get confusing. I am going to assume I am not pregnant until told otherwise, but cant help being curious.
