Breastfeeding and nauseaFrom: Christine (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 30 Nov 2002 09:16:10 -0600 (CST)
I am currently nursing my 12-week old daughter exclusively. About two weeks ago I started having nausea and painful nipples when she nursed. I had a blood pregnancy test about a week ago, which was negative. I am nauseous as soon as she starts to nurse, as well as at other times. I also have no appetite, increased urination, fatigue and occasional dizziness. I feel pregnant. But the test says no. Could I still be pregnant? If not, what could be the cause of the nipple soreness and nausea while nursing?
-- Thank you, Christine and Christiana
