No, implantation bleeding is actually quite unusual. Yes, some women have very few symptoms when pregnant. You can take a pregnancy test with quite accurate results at two weeks after you ovulated, or if you don't know when that was, then 1 week after you thought your period should be (if you don't know your ovulation date then it is less reliable).
