Hi First off let me say I am not a health official of ANY kind. But on the subject of cytotec here is my laymans info. Not too long ago I watched a Dateline episode about the use of cytotec. Most of the women interviewed had either lost a child or had serious complication due to the use of cytotec. The show went rather in depth and did show that the use of cytotec for the cervics in pregnancy is off-label use. Meaning it is not the intended purpose of the drug. This is only what I heard but I felt so strongly after the show that I know I personally would never allow a doctor to use it on me. I would strongly recommend you speak with your doctor and if he intends to use cytotec I would get a second opinon to be safe. Again I am not a doctor this is only my opinion but I would research this drug as much as possible before using it. Hope this helps and good luck.
