Had surgery on wed. to fix hernia and having alot of pain

I just had surgery to have a groin hernia fixed and I am 30 weeks pregnant. I did not relize how painful the recovery would be and have had to take 13 pain killers already. I had the surgery wed. morning. I had the surgery under twilight and all my doctors are aware that I am pregnant. Should I be worried about having to take so many pain killers? How long should I expect to be in pain? The baby seems more active than ever right now. Is that a good sign? Any advice or info would be great. Thank you!
