2nd beta results weren't good...QUESTIONS!!??From: Jay (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 25 Nov 2002 08:12:45 -0600 (CST)
Hello... I tested + on HPT last Wednesday....but my beta results weren't good... (30 on Wednesday...49 on Friday...63% rise over 48 hr period!)...the RE said that it is a lost cause (#'s should have been in the 100's!) and that I should start AF or spotting this weekend...it hasn't happened yet...but as you can see from my chart my temps are dropping!! ...is this classified as a chemical pregnancy, a m/c or what?? And how long would it take for betas to stop rising when they haven't even reached the triple digits yet??? My RE said I could start my Clomid this next cycle if I wanted...or try again naturally...I am worried that if I try on my own without it...that the same thing will happen...what causes betas to not rise well...bad quality egg?? (my FSH levels have been: 9.1, 8 and 10.3) Sorry about all the questions...Lots of thoughts formulating over the weekend!! Thanks for any info.... http://www.FertilityFriend.com/home/10edf/ Jacqueline (37) DH (35) TTC # 1
