I am 7 weeks along and had a dr. appt. two days ago. U/S scheduled for tomorrow b/c of my history (m/c at 11 wks, but development had stopped in the 6th wk). At my appt. the other day, I was given a papsmear b/c I would be due for my annual while several months PG. Not sure why it was ok to have one while PG at all, but did not argue. There was slight bleeding after the papsmear, which doc said would be normal. But then yesterday morning, I noticed brown spotting, along with some mild cramping. The cramping persisted all day and through the night. No bleeding, or further spotting, but I did have a very odd discharge in the night that was small, brown and somewhat solid with a bloody streak. Haven't had bleeding or spotting since, but cramps continue today, and are mostly concentrated today on the left side. Is this normal? I am really worried b/c of my past m/c, but at least it is earlier this time and I really haven't been letting myself get excited this time or as hopeful. If you happen to read this today, please respond. Am I freaking for no reason? Thank God I have an U/S tomorrow, so that I'll know one way or the other. The worst part is not knowing.
