NST twice a weekFrom: Nicole (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 23 Nov 2002 18:45:46 -0600 (CST)
I have had severe anxiety and depression with this, my first pregnancy, so far. Currently, my doctors have me on Zoloft 100mg a day and Lorazepam 2mg/4 times a day. Their hope is that the Zoloft will kick in and help with the anxiety and I will be able to taper off the Lorazepam by the birth of my baby in February. My anxiety was so bad that I had to spend 5 days in a psychiatric unit. My question is, at 32 weeks my OB wants to do two NST a week and I'm wondering why. Everything else with my pregnancy has been fine. Baby growing adeqauately and I have been gaining weight. Is my pregnancy considered high risk because of my meds? Thanks for any replies.
