2nd beta didn't double...what now??

I tested + on DPO14 (Wednesday)...beta was 30 Today (Friday - DPO16)....beta only 49.

I also did another HPT this morning (2nd of the 2 pack I bought)...it was darker than Wednesday's...and my temperature is still high!

The RE's receptionist gave me the 2nd beta # and told me it didn't look good...and that the # should be in the 100's by now...I am waiting for the RE to call me...

Does this number indicate that very soon everything will start bottoming out!??!
