When are you getting married? If your girlfriend is 16 then doesn't she need parental consent to get married? If you're not getting married soon then her parents should be told as they'll be an integral part of raising this child and since that is one of your options then their opinion is important.

I've talked to couples that have had abortions, gone on to get married and had more children and it is harder on them than couples that have broken up afterwards as they look at their other children and always wonder "what if".
