I am 29 yrs old, have not had a menses since January, prior to that was the preceding July. Doctor is doing blood work for a pituitary tumor and checking for menopause, have taken provera three times without success in last 4 months. What is the possibilities of early menopause and what could that do to me since it is so early. My grandmother went through menopause at 34 but then again she had had a hysterectomy for cancer, my mother and 5 aunts all have had hysterectomies by 28 only female in my generation too. I want more kids and doc is talking about fertility pills but don't know those risks either but that would depend on whether i am going through menopause. So my question is, Is it likely that I could be going through menopause. I have night sweats and sweat outdoors when it is 50 degrees outside always hot and on an emotional rollercoaster more than usual.
