okay, I'm very confused. I am about 12 1/2 weeks w/ my third child (ren). ??? Have had some bleeding on and off since about 5 weeks. Went last thurs. and the u/s tech saw a 'gestational sac/yolk sac" and then a perfectly healthy baby jumping and moving around in there. She didn't say anything more about the "sac". I saw my doc today and i asked her about it. Her response was... most likely a blighted ovum.. or could be twin pregnancy and the second baby wasn't seen. How the ??? Blighted ovum would mean miscarriage correct? So, am I still in danger of losing the ONE we know is there and doing okay? (heart rate 176 on 11/7 & measured fine.) WOW am I totally confused .. or completely ignorant! Any info would be helpful at this point!
