I have hypo thyroid and the doctor just recently three weeks ago up my dose. Before starting on this I had a period every two weeks. That happened two years ago and about five to six months after taking synthroid my period got normal. Then eventually messed up again. Could three weeks worth of the new dosage make my period normal or could i possibly be pregnant? I have two children already and wanted to know how soon after conception does your cervix start to close up? I check my cervix sometimes to see when I am fertile but did not do it this month. I checked it about four days ago and it was open about as much as the tip of my finger with a mucus plug. Now today I can't fit a finger tip in it. But I still have alot of stretchy mucus and when I wipe the mucus looks yellow. I am suppost to start Saturday. My breast are sore but that is about it. I am just so use to having a period every two weeks this is kind of making me wonder if pregnancy could be a possiblity. Thanks, Amanda
