It is important to only use Robitussin/Guaifenesin. Any other formula (like DM) with dry up mucus rather than get it flowing. Robitussin/Guaifenesin is meant to break up thick mucus (like when you have a cold) and that's what you want. The doctor's don't believe in it - but there are so many that it helps! two teaspoons three times a day starting on the 10th day of cycle until two days after your surge.
