question for Dr. only pleaseFrom: jenny (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 5 Nov 2002 17:15:47 -0600 (CST)
I'm about 19 weeks pregnant and my ob/gyn has become concerned about my >blood pressure. It is 150/90. I now have an appointment with the high >risk unit and they will be doing another ultrasound. I already had an >ultrasound last week I asked if there were any abnormalities in the >ultrasound and I was told no and that it is standard to have another >ultrasound when being seen by the high risk uunit. Does this sound like >standard procedure to you or is my Dr, hiding something from me? What >are some of the other reasons one could be labeled as high risk?
