3 miscarriages...what should i do?

I have had 3 misscarriages so far. I am 38 years old. First one was diagnosed as ectopic, but it wasnt!! Ovum was not found and HCG was not doubling so after a D&C, HCG dropped and they said it was a missed miscarriage. Second one, after i missed my period and shown positive on pregnancy, 7 days later, i started my period.Heavy period for 8 days, so i assume it was a miscarriage. Third one, I was 10.5 weeks. I went on a trip and when I returned, I started bleeding after i got off the plane. I had not seen my doctor all throughout pregnancy. He looked U/S internally and said that it seemed as though the sac was empty no fetus was there and that it could have been a blythed ovum from the beginning and no fetus! I waited to miscarry for 13 days naturally but after lots of pain, I had another D&C.

what is happening to me? what should I do so my next pregnancy is successful. I am so weak and tired. I dont even think I want to get pregnant anymore. But I would like to know what did I do wrong or what should I do to prevent these miscarriages. I feel all my pregnancies are going to be blythed ovum and followed by D&C. I know I am thinking negative. But I dont know what is to be done, so I would have a healthy pregnancy next time. Thank you
