Bicornuate Uteri U/S & Fetal GrowthFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 31 Oct 2002 14:30:47 -0600 (CST)
I am 27 weeks pg with my first child, and was diagnosed with a Bicornuate Uteri. My Doc sent me in for an ultrasound to make sure everything was alright and they told us a few things that have us a little worried that are unrelated to the BU; -Bilateral, Mildly dilated renal pelvis (rt 0.77, lt 0.78), possible UPJ obstruction. What is this and how worried should we be? -Estimated Fetal Weight is 1506g (3.3lbs...isn't that a tad heavy?), and the baby is measuring: HC- 26.1 cm AC- 25.7cm FL- 5.9cm BDP- 7.4 cm The perinatologist indicated that I might have gestational diabetes because this is very big for the baby at this point. Any insight on these figures would be appreciated. L.
