blood pressure questionFrom: Victoria (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Oct 2002 12:34:54 -0600 (CST)
When I went to the doctor Monday for my 30 week check-up my blood pressure was high for me, but the PA said not to worry just yet. She took it again right before I left and it was higher than the first time, but she still said not to worry. I am not good at remembering the numbers because I really don't understand blood pressure readings, but my high reading she said was normal for most people. Last night I went to bed very early with a bad headache and when I was vaccuuming earlier I suddenly got very hot and starting seeing stars. Should I tell my doctor these things? My pregnancy has been very normal so far and I'm hoping it stays that way. I guess what I am asking is that if there was a problem with my blood pressure being high, would I know about it? They didn't do a urine screening last appt because I couldn't go and they sent me home, so I don't know about protein and I have no unusual swelling. Thank you:o).
