In Reply to "Anonymous" with the snide remarks above - No, I don't think my status of being a Senior VP of a major company alone entitles me to a child. I guess I was trying to illustrate that having money isn't everything. I would trade it all in for a child. In fact, if I ever am blessed with a child, my husband and I have decided that I will quit my job, and forfeit a large salary so that I could stay home with the baby. I absolutely do feel it is important to have a stable and loving atmosphere when bringing a child into the world. Because I have a good job alone doesn't make me any more deserving of a child, but it certainly doesn't make me any less deserving, which is how I take your remarks. Is it better to be on welfare, and have the State and taxpayers support your children??? Give me a break! Are you also going to justify the women who drink in their pregnancies and tell me they are more deserving to have a child than I am??? I don't think so. I would never do anything to harm my child, unlike these women. They should be considered child abusers, and have their children taken from them immediately upon giving birth. Yes, these children might turn out to be wonderful human beings, but I think they'd have a hell of a better chance in a stable home environment. Just a word of advice to you - don't EVER insinuate to a woman who has been trying to conceive and desperately wants a child that she is not worthy of one, unless you have good reason.
