Is There a Medical ExplanationFrom: Gayle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 Oct 2002 07:50:08 -0600 (CST)
I know I'm going to sound paranoid, but I had two previous very early miscarriages, and am now 13 weeks into this pg. I began protruding rather early and for the last week or two actually looked pregnant to those who don't know me. It seemed my uterus had risen above the pubic bone. Last night I noticed that I suddenly didn't look very pregnant. Also, my weight this month has not increased. (My appetite has decreased this month.) So, is it normal to look really pg one day and then seem to "deflate" another day? If it is normal, is there a logical explanation for this? I'm a bit worried that something has gone wrong. (We have not yet heard the hb... hopefully will at next week's appt. We did see it on u/s at 7 weeks.) Thanks, Gayle
