Skipped question about non-reactive NSTFrom: Adria (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 30 Oct 2002 22:42:01 -0600 (CST)
Just to refresh, I am 33 weeks and have consistently had non-reactive NSTs. The baby is very active, but his heartrate does not accelerate at all with his movements. My OB mentioned that if he is not IUGR (we had thought at first he may be), there could be a chromosomal problem. WHat kind of chromosomal disorders would cause this? I have nst's twice/week with BPPs (which all have been either 6 or 8/8). I have also been hospitalized twice for further monitoring. I am just worried as to what can cause an isolated non-reactive nst especially chromosomal problems. Any info would be great.
