WHERE'S THE JUSTICE???? Love to hear from women TTC...From: LS (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 30 Oct 2002 21:58:29 -0600 (CST)
I am 37, a Senior VP of a major retailer, have been married to the same man for 13 years, and TTC for over 5 years now. I've had repeat miscarriages, each one a devastating loss. Now, I find out my alcoholic sister-in-law is pregnant AGAIN, with child number 2. She drank thru her entire first pregnancy. She was even drunk at her shower. She smokes too. Apparently, she is already in her second trimester and is having a textbook pregnancy...no morning sickness, no tiredness, nothing. Where's the justice? This news comes to me right on top of my parent's neighbor, on Welfare, not married, not working, pregnant with number FIVE. She too is a class act and smokes like a chimney thru her pregnancies and sleeps around and probably doesn't know who the father is with this kid too. Again, I ask, Where's the Justice??? It's hard enough to see good, decent people getting pregnant around me....but I think these last 2 are going to push me right over the edge. Sorry if I sound bitter. I'm really not. Just at the end of my rope. Does anyone else out there that is TTC feel like the World is an unfair place??? If so, please write. Signed, Fed Up
