2 vessel cord (SUA)From: Robin (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 20 Oct 2002 11:59:35 -0500 (CDT)
During my first routine ultrasound at 18 weeks, I was told I have Single Umbilical Artery. The heart and other organs looked good. The femur was about 1 week short. We decided to do an amnio and are waiting for the results, but our Fish test came back all normal. Do you consider a SUA pregnancy high risk? Should we be seeing a specialist? Would a fetal echocardiogram at 22 weeks always be recommended? Thank you for any information.
