miscarriage/ clomid/ progesterone / success ratesFrom: sara (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 19 Oct 2002 10:23:10 -0500 (CDT)
I have had a couple of miscarriages. My luteal phase is 10 days over several months. My doctor is doing an hsg to rule out problems with the uterine lining, a progesterone test on day 21, and is talking about starting me on Clomid next month. With my type of situation, what are the chances of me getting pregnant sometime this year? Are they good? I read that Clomid (in Taking Charge of your Fertility) can even shorten the luteal phase more and dry up cervical fluid. Should I turn in down and opt for progesterone suppositories if it turns out to be the blood test that comes out poor? I'm tired mentally and could use some support. I would love to hear some success stories or advice from doctors and patients. Feel free to email me sabtem4vr@aol.com.
