Could it possibly be the baby resting on your ribs? The pain that you describe, I've had with my son and again with this pregnancy. For me, it's the baby's bum that is pushing up and "bruising" my ribs and I also feel the pain below my shoulder blade. I'm presently 38 weeks along and it's also been 4 weeks since I've started feeling it. I'm just advancing this as a possibility. If this is it, hang in there... delivery is just around the corner.
