When I read your post, it is funny, the first thing I thought of was that it sounds exactly like what my mother experienced a few months ago-and it was shingles. The herpes virus, in such a case, may have originated in the form of chicken pox (in her case, too) and then become activated later. My father also had it and an uncle. evryone I know had the saem type of pain and radiation in lines or "bands," as you describe. It usually makes people shout out in pain. I am SOOO sorry for you feeling like this. Please investigate further!
