For Dr Aziz..... apa antibodies and Anti-thyroid antibodiesFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netMon, 14 Oct 2002 11:16:23 -0500 (CDT)
Thank you dr, may I ask a few more question? Yes, it was antiphospholipid antibodies what I was refering to. MAy I ask if the incidence of thyroid peroxidase, is it likley that the antibody is elevated in women with repeat pregnancy loss as it is a by product of that? and that it can be elevated in a woman and cause little problems? Could I have had this in my previous healthy pregnancy? Also, does treatment by oral steroids (such as prednisolong) help to lower the antibodies (thyroid peroxidase)? Thank you for your insight and help :O)
