12 weeks and can't find heartbeat with home doppler...found it a few days ago..From: Michelle (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 11 Oct 2002 22:24:40 -0500 (CDT)
I heard it pretty easily between 10 and 11 weeks, but now I can't find it for the past few days. I do hear what I think is water and the baby swimming away. I hear this in response to when I press in different areas, but I'm still at the time so I guessing it has to be the baby moving. I also hear the placental "wind in the trees" very loudly on one side. I'm a bit overweight and figure this plays a part in not being able to hear now. I guess I'm looking for reassurance that the sounds I do hear probably mean that everything is okay. My last appt was at 9weeks w/ a strong heartbeat then. I don't go back until 13 weeks. Is it possible that the water sounds I'm hearing are the baby moving away? Thanks for any help.
