I'm not familiar with this brand (or generic name), however if the ingredients are pure lanolin, and I assume they would be since the hospital gave it to you post partum purely for breastfeeding, it is very safe for the baby. It's really the only thing that is okay for the baby to ingest. No need to wipe it off prior to feeding.
