Dear Amanda, I am new to this page, but i read your post, and I would like to say, that I too have been trying to conceive, and up until a few days ago, didn't know why I wasn't having a period or able to get pregnant. My doctor that I have been working with didn't know what was wrong with me so he referred me to a different doctor, who was able to diagnose me with the same thing that you have. I told him that I was trying to get pregnant, and he did a series of blood and urine tests and after he got the results back, he gave me 3 prescriptions to take. The are as follows: 1. Provera-to get my period started again, 2. Metformin-i am not really sure what this is for, he said that it had something to do with getting my periods to regulate, and 3. Prenatal Vitamins-to get the nutrition and vitamins that my body will need to conceive and carry a child. I already have a 2 year old son, and wanted more children. We have been trying for over a year to get pregnant because we only wanted 2-3 years between our children. If you read this message, just talk to your doctor about these options and see what he/she has to say. If you need to talk about it, then my email address is amy_sandaran@hotmail.com and I will be more than glad to talk to you because I know the frustration and depression that you are probably feeling right now.
