Weight gain normally starts from 11 weeks&normally is one pound for each week i.e 400gm which makes an increase of one 1 kgm per month.weight gain of 24 to 28lb is recommended. Balanced diet containg suffient amount of protien ,vitamines minerals is recommended,check that with your doctor. It is normal to have slight bulge in your belly at the age of 16 weeks.
