INDOCIN during 32 weeksFrom: Marie (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 28 Sep 2002 12:03:53 -0500 (CDT)
I am 32 1/2 weeks. 1 cm dialated on 9/27 pelvic exam. Went in with extreme lower back aches follows front when standing. Felt like my lower parts were spitting in two. Pain started 9/21, hurt only while standing. Slowly progressed to constant by 9/26, hurt while standing, sitting, or lying down. Doctor did a pelvic and found out i was a finger tip dialated but said he didn't feel like the pain was from contractions. Put me on 50 mg of Indomethacin every 6 hours. Told me he'll recheck me in a week. Is this med safe. It says it can affect baby's heart. Please help.
