Do you regularly have such a long luteal phase or is it just occasionally? I suppose if you always have a 17 day long luteal phase it could be normal for you. However, if you only occasionally get a really long luteal phase of 17, 18 days or longer, and at most other times have one that is around 14 days, combined with infertility, then I'd mention it to the doctor. Saying that, most likely, it is just a variation on the normal.
