A quick cervical position question for the doctor

Hi! I just had my annual pap test today. Since my husband and i are trying to conceive i casually asked my doctor if my uterus was tilted. For some reason i was curious. He told me my cervix was (and i am 2 days post ovulation)pointed downward. He tried to explain it to me with his fingers which honestly only further confused me. He pointed his fingers downward. Does that mean my uterus is tilted forward or backward? And if so (as i couldn't bare to ask him this question) if it is pointed forward what is the best sexual position for conceiving a child? And same thing if it is pointed backward, which would be the best sexual position? What does pointed downward exactly mean? I am 34 and we are trying to conceive and i am scared this is going to make it more difficult. If you can figure out which way it is tilted,or what tilted downward means, please give me the best sexual position to conceive. Thanks so much! Cindy
